My name is Darren Goff and I’d like to welcome you to my blog. This is something I have been planning for a while but never actually executed until now. My intention is to blog on various technical topics and experiences based on my role, which I expect to be mainly focused on virtualization and cloud technologies. I have found many blogs very useful in the past and thought I should give back to the technical community by sharing my experiences, pain and knowledge. Hopefully, you will find some information which helps you with a challenge you are facing.
I have been providing consultancy and support for Microsoft and VMware technologies over the past 19 years with a focus on VMware solutions for the last 9 years. During this time I have worked on a wide range of assignments for a number of blue-chip clients. Initially working within the support environment I have gained strong technical skills which I have developed and progressed into Technical Design, Consultancy and Architecture for various technologies.
